Will I upgrade for to Fitbit Versa 3 or Sense after using versa 1 for 2 years?

I have been using the Fitbit Versa 1 consistently for more than 2 years now. With the introduction of Fitbit Sense and Versa 3, I have been tempted to decide whether there is a need for me to upgrade.

Should I move to another platform to try or should I still with Fitbit?

The Good

Fitbit has done well in certain areas and these are part of my consideration whether to stick with Fitbit. Fitbit has done a good job in providing software updates to the watch as I receive an update in Sept 2020, 2.5 years from the launch date in April 2020. This update provides the watch with an SPO2 watch faces as well as active minutes to bring the feature closer to the Versa 3.

The notification feature of the watch seemed to work better and more reliable compared to the same feature 1.5 year ago. The watch used to need a physical restart if the notification stops working and this is no longer the case. As I am wearing a versa 1, I do not get to reply messages via voice reply. However, I can still do simple actions as well as submit quick replies to the messages.

The battery life on the watch is also holding up quite well. The watch still last 4 days on average. I chosed to get this watch over Android Wear and Samsung Wear for the battery life as it reduce the hassle of always charging. Fitbit will also send a notification and email to ensure that I charge my watch when battery is…
