Apple launched iPhone 14 pro today. The phone comes with a punch hole cut out rather than a notch.
The phone also comes with an always-on display that uses very little battery.
The cameras come with software enhancements to improve low light. The main camera is a 48mp capable of pixel binning to combine 4 pixels into 1 big pixel to capture more light.
Introducing *cough cough* S20 from 2.5 years ago
iPhone 14 brings new features like crash detection (hopefully I will never need to) and satellite calling (if I ever go on a mountain hike and subscribe to the service).
This year’s main feature is called “dynamic island” which is a software feature to aid the “punch-hole” camera that adapts to the needs of the phone. Such a “feature” seemed to be something that (theoretically) can work in older iPhones in other ways but this feature will probably be limited to the iPhone 14 pro.
Doesn’t this feature make the “smaller notch” become the same size as the iPhone 13?
